My friend also wanted to go to the Montreal Botanical Garden and, walking around the greenhouses and seeing so many trees and plants that are either native or very common in Rio de Janeiro and in Brazil (some even in my parents backyard), brought this sense of nostalgia. The longing for the beach was real, especially as the day was sunny and warm.
I took hundreds of pictures, I felt inspired and energized. I'll be sorting through everything this week and hopefully I'll be able to create many beautiful prints and artworks and some new posters too.
